Sim, a founding partner of Delta Leadership, Inc., also serves as professor of management, director of the Behavioral Science and Policy Center, and founding faculty director of the Center on Leadership and Ethics at Duke University.

He has extensive consulting and executive education experience with many large and small corporations, nonprofit and government organizations worldwide, including: ABB, Alcoa, American Airlines, Areva, Baker Tilly, bioMerieux, Carolina Power & Light, Cisco Systems, Compaq Computer, Corning, Credit Suisse First Boston, Deutschebank, Duke Medical Center, Ericsson, GlaxoSmithKline, Hart Graphics, IBM, La Quinta, Lenovo, Maxcor, Omgeo, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Red Hat Software.

Sim’s research focuses on leadership and control systems and their influence on how organizations and their members become more or less capable of change and innovation. He is widely known for his research on the effect of formal and informal organizational control systems and leadership on risk taking, accountability, trust, learning from failure and innovation.

Sim received his BA in psychology from Clark University, his Ed.M in education from Harvard University, and his PhD in business from Stanford University.

Mark serves as Coaching Program Liaison for Delta Leadership, supporting the design, delivery, and success of coaching engagements across the Six Domains of Leadership ecosystem. In this role, Mark acts as a trusted connector between Delta Leadership, our coaches, and our clients—ensuring coaching engagements are relationally strong, strategically aligned, and smoothly executed. He supports coaches throughout the lifecycle of an engagement.

Kim combines deep financial expertise with a passion for leadership development. An experienced CFO, certified business coach, and strategist for startups and rapidly growing businesses, she brings a unique blend of financial acumen, psychological insight, and practical experience. This combination enables Kim to guide entrepreneurs and leaders in making informed decisions, strengthening systems, and driving meaningful, sustainable growth.

Joyce is the Operations Director at Delta Leadership, bringing over 15 years of experience in marketing and organizational management. She has a proven record of success in building innovative, strategic programs that drive efficiency, support growth, and achieve business goals. With a background in integrated marketing—including direct mail and email campaigns—Joyce combines operational expertise with strategic insight to strengthen brands, streamline processes, and deliver measurable results in competitive global markets.

Beth is Director of Products and Programs, designing initiatives that help leaders and teams unlock their potential and achieve measurable impact. She brings an evidence-based, strategic approach to program development while modeling curiosity and transparency.
